Our new initiative with ANIDA on Thursday, November 13th. Our shift is from 9:00am-1:00pm. Their location is 4401 Steeles Avenue West. The team will start out in the board room for a short orientation session, which is located on the right-hand side of the building where the offices are, and then they will head to the foodbank which is located on the left side of the parking lot.
Our shift will begin at 9:00am, please arrive 10-15mins earlier.

- Location: We are located at 4401 Steeles Ave W, Toronto. Enter the parking lot from Norfinch; the food bank is on the south side of the building, visible on the left side of the parking lot upon entrance. We will be having a short orientation first, then head to the Food Bank. Please see directional signs that will help lead you to the Boardroom.
- Parking: Free, ample parking is available. Please Park anywhere except in the designated spots closest to the food bank, which are reserved for Food Bank Clients.
- Attire: Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (no open-toe sandals or high heels). Be prepared for some lifting and handling of food items, which can get messy
- Protective Gear: Masks and gloves will be provided.
- Food: We provide volunteers with water, and there is a kitchen available for coffee/tea as well. There is a fridge available to leave your food inside. Vending machines are available in the building for purchase, and there are a few nearby food options (Tim Hortons/McDonalds) if you’d like to grab something if you take a small break.
