AGCOGives is excited to host a Children's Book Drive in support of The Children's Book Bank!
From August 6 to August 28, 2026, we are collecting new or gently used children's books (ages 0–18) to help children across the Greater Toronto Area build their own home libraries and foster a lifelong love of reading.

The Children's Book Bank is a registered charitable organization that provides free books and literacy support to children and educators in under-resourced communities across the Greater Toronto Area. Their mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to own books at home and experience the joy and lifelong benefits of reading.

What Can You Donate?
The Children's Book Bank welcomes new or gently used children's books (ages 0–18) that are:
✅ Clean and in excellent condition
✅ Complete, with no missing or loose pages
✅ Free of writing, highlighting, or excessive markings
✅ Free from mould, water damage, strong odours, or significant wear
✅ Suitable for children and youth, from babies through young adults
Examples include:
- Board books and baby books
- Picture books
- Early readers
- Chapter books
- Young adult books
- Graphic novels and manga
- Children's non-fiction books
Donation Details
- Collection Period: August 6 to August 28, 2026
- Drop-Off Location: Head Office, 3rd Floor (in front of Michelle Chung's desk)
- Book Delivery: August 29, 2026
Every donated book helps put stories into the hands of children who may not otherwise have access to books at home. Together, we can inspire curiosity, imagination, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.
